Ayodhya weather at a glance
Ayodhya has hot summers, a heavy monsoon and a mild, dry winter. The averages below come from the weather station at nearby Faizabad and cover observations from 1961 to 1989. Much of a day in Ayodhya happens outdoors: queues, the steps at Hanuman Garhi, walks along the ghats. That makes the season matter more than in many cities. If you want to see several places in one day, look at the Ayodhya temple tours and day trips, or plan it yourself with the notes on this page.
